Boxing Clever!
 Spring is trying to spring all over Scotland, but it does seem to be more successful in the West currently, so I have no photos of daffodils in the East! Demijohn News - March 2008
Our News: Fair season is upon us early this year as I have already been out on the streets selling our wares. Some may have spotted us in Glasgow City Centre on Sun 24 Feb and Sun 9 March at the very newly created Sloane's Market? The market is to take place reguarly each Sunday, just off Buchanan Street in Glasgow's busy City Centre where they shop even when it is sleeting! The cold temperatures were a little bit of a shock to the system, but I met some very nice people who had never heard of us before so we hope to repeat the process again soon. However, I am serioulsy hoping our next event at the Chester Food and Drink Festival will be a somewhat warmer outing. The food festival will be held this Easter Bank Holiday weekend at the Racecourse on the outskirts of Chester on Sat 22, Sun 23 and Mon 24 March. All detail are on their website if you would like to come along. We will be bringing a little of our Scottish weather to Cheshire, whether or not they are ready for this remains to be seen! I also managed to squeeze in a very exclusive tasting evening for the Ladies of West Fife and Kinross Farmers Women's Club on Wed 5 March in Kingseat, Fife. Despite a wild reputation, the 40 or so Women who attended looked after me extremely well and seemed to enjoy the talk. I have a series of corporate tasting evenings to perform next month with some impressive clients such as Maclay Murray & Spens, I will let you know how they go next month...

New Product News
Wow we have been having fun this month! Not only is our Seville Orange Gin Liqueur 26% back in stock, but the underworld of small producers in Britain have finally woken up after their winter hibernation! We have once again been busy on the trail of finding some of the best liquid products on offer. Soon to start next week will be a fabulous organic Cucumber Vodka 32.5%  from the Godminster Cheesemakers in Somerset. If you have any doubts about Cheesemongers making liqueurs, this will quell your worries in a splash. Look out for an organic Rhubarb Vodka which will arriving from Inverness soon too. To top it all we have just acquired a delightful unique cask of Linkwood single malt whisky. Those of you who remember our last cask strength Linkwood will be pleased to hear this is going to top it! Getting our hands on the finest Italian glass has been a little tricky of late, however the great news is that our beautiful Ying and Yang 200ml bottles are back in stock and that our clever Impilabile 250ml stacking bottles will be back in stock in around a weeks time. We have successfully found 2 brilliantly enthusiastic new people to boost our team in Edinburgh and give Alastair a welcome break, after he trains them up, of course! Joining us is Fraser Wright, who is currently studying Music at Edinburgh University and Amelia Pace who is studying Painting at the Edinburgh College of Art. Sadly Katy Jones who has been helping us on a part time basis in Glasgow has decided to turn her time to concentrate on her studies. Thankyou Katy for all your hard work for us. Despite the recently arrived new talent in Edinburgh we are still looking for someone to fill a potential full time post in our Edinburgh shop.
