Our Gooseberry Gin Liqueur has been constantly developed and refined to get to its current level of quality. Smooth and fruity, this is an exceptional Summer drink with an exciting burst of gooseberry. Gooseberries may not be everybody's cup of tea, but there is something original about this Gooseberry Gin which makes it positively irresistible.
How is it best drunk?
Just to tempt you some more, this liqueur is even more sophisticated when slightly chilled and served long with tonic. We call this cocktail Evoque. Once tasted, resisting a second try from the glass would be more tricky than avoiding a glance at the wicked Medusa's head. It even makes an interesting syrup for vanilla ice cream, have fun experimenting!
How is this made?
Using an original recipe from ex Hospital Pharmacist, Rosie Sedgwick, it is now made in East Lothian for us by Robin and Derry Ford. They have managed to keep all the charm of the original drink while adding a rather cheeky twist of their own!
