Demijohn News - December 2007
Our News: If any one has spotted me out there just over the last week or so you may have noticed something wild going on with my hair! I can assure you this is a good sign and not only caused by our turbulent and at times diabolical weather. Business at Demijohn has never been busier. Our Christmas fairs, bar none, have all been immensely successful and thank you all for showing such enthusiastic support. In both October and November we took a record number of online orders and still they keep coming in the most wonderful way. The good news is we are well on top of the situation, all thanks to Carrie and her team in Glasgow who are packing like a team of eager beavers. The down side to all this successful hard work is that I have failed to get even close to a barber shop for nearly 2 months. Scary as it may sound, help is at hand and my appointment has been set by good Wife Frances at 9am tomorrow. Should I miss this for operational reasons, it  would be no less than the 4th failed appointment in a row. Worse still my Mother would doubtless have a few things to say about the state of my glorious locks, and as my next stop is Christmas day lunch at my in-laws with my family in attendance, I had better look my best. Not one to let the side down, this appointment is safe!
Refill Discount Offer in Jan and Feb 2008
We are very conscious that this year has seen an impressive surge in our customers taking advantage of our offer to refill your bottles at the cost of the refill only. We want to do more to encourage this surge and therefore would like to offer all Demijohn bottle owners the opportunity to receive a 15% discount on the cost of their refills for the months of January and February 2008. Simply state you wish to "take up the Demijohn 2008 refill offer" when you return with your bottles to refill. Please remember to clean your bottles throughly prior to returning with them to us. We will give them a full inspection and replace corks as necessary. This offer excludes a discount on the cost of mail order delivery for those that wish to re-pack their bottles and send them back to us for re-filling and returning to them.
Last Mail Order Day
For those who really want to put us under pressure and test the system, we will be taking last orders for Christmas delivery on Tuesday 18th December this year. However, we would ask that you do not wait until 7pm that day to place your order, and would prefer if you could order as soon as possible. As ever we will always advise of our current state of play and be honest about our ability to meet a deadline. Currently we will fullfill all our order deadlines but if you are wanting to try a last minute order and are in any doubt, please give us a call on 0141 3373600.
