Tasting Notes
If you are a fan of our Elderberry Wine or Elderberry and Port Liqueur, then you must try our Elderberry Gin Liqueur.
How is it best drunk?
It is slightly dry to taste, with a port like finish. We are still experimenting with its taste to produce a cocktail or too, but we know it accompanies cheese and deserts very well. So if you have any new ideas about how to drink it that you would like to share please contact us.
How is this made?
The elderberries are picked lovingly by hand from the hedgerows around Chester, before being infused in Gin. This delicious after dinner liqueur is another masterpiece from Rosie Sedgwick's cupboard of delights.
