This is a single ticket for our first ever School of Taste event, focusing on Rum. This tasting event will be held in our York Shop at 11 Museum Street, on Thursday 26th March 2020, starting at 6.30pm and finshing at 8pm.
How does it work?
School of Taste is a new style of tasting evening. At each event we will demonstrate how to make some of our unique cocktails and recipes using our many delicious and quirky food and drink products. A each tasting we will focus on a particular ingredient, such as Rum, Olive Oil or Gin.
School of Taste events will loosely take the format of an interactive workshop, where guests will be involved with the creation of at least 4 recipes. These might be some of our existing cocktails or food recipes, or something completely new. During the evening, there will be the opportunity to try our new creations and the potential for guests to help us discover new recipes and possibly even become famous!
Anything else I should know?
Our School of Taste event will appeal to food and drink lovers who are keen and inquisitive to learn more, especially those who like the idea of experimenting with their drinks to make new cocktails or food ingredients to make new recipes. The event will be relaxed and should be a lot of fun.
After buying a ticket, what happens next?
Once you have bought your ticket online, your will receive a receipt by email which is confirmation of your booking. Please bring a copy of this receipt with you to the tasting as proof of purchase. If you have any queries prior to the event, please contact us.
Otherwise we look forward to seeing you at our York store at 6.30pm on the day of the tasting. Our York shop address is 11 Museum Street, York, YO1 7DT.
A School of Taste event involves a certain amount of prior planning and cost to be incurred prior to being run. As a result of these costs, we require a minimum attendance of 5 guests before the event can go ahead. If this minimum number of guests is not met, Demijohn reserves the right to cancel the event up to midday on the day of the event, and will then refund any purchased tickets in full.
In the event that a customer wishes to cancel their attendance and requests a refund for a purchased ticket, refunds will only be offered if that cancelletaion is made more than 72 hours in advance of any planned School of Taste event. Our advice therefore is to make contact with us as soon as possible if you cannot attend for any reason and are seeking a refund.
