Our Scottish ginger beer is a handcrafted soft drink that has been made on an Aberdeenshire family farm using all natural fruits, herbs & spice such as fresh root ginger, apple juice and pressed ginger juice.
Those ingredients are then combined with lightly sparkling Scottish water to create this wonderful bold and zingy ginger beer. It is a fiery cracker and delicious!
How is it best used?
Summer House Ginger Beer is a perfect mixer to our range of spirits and liqueurs. It can be combined to create some of our amazing cocktail recipes that use ginger beer or ginger wine, such as our Any Port in a Storm Cocktail or an alcohol free aperatif Mocktail using one of our non-alcoholic cordials.
It can also of course also be drunk simply over ice, with a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

There is of course a nice story behind this particular Scottish ginger beer. Summer House Ginger Beer is actually made by the Rennie family at Peathill in Aberdeenshire. Claire Rennie has a nose for a great drink and as a result maker our Walter Gregor's Indian Tonic Water too. We think she has made a very fine job with this ginger beer.
