Our Basil infused Rapeseed Oil and Garlic infused Rapeseed Oils have been combined in a pair of Herbalist 500ml bottles to create the Basil & Garlic Infused Oil Gift Set. Both infused oils are a great addition to any larder and will help a cook flavour any dish quickly with the delicious and distinctive tastes of basil and garlic.
This food gift set could make a fabulous birthday gift or Christmas gift for the chef in the house.
How is it best used?
As a result of rapeseed oils natural high burn point, all of our infused Rapeseed Oils are fantastic for high temperature cooking, such as roasting vegetables and frying.
Our Basil & Garlic Infused Oil Gift Set is also fantastic for making marinades and dressing with our range of locally produced fruit vinegars, such as our subtle Apple Vinegar to our more fruity Raspberry Vinegar.
We have experimented with roasting and frying vegetables in a mix of a little rapeseed oil and a little fresh strong Extra Virgin Olive Oil such as our Villa Montalbano.
The combination not only improves the taste dramatically, but it will allow cooking without burning at a much higher temperature.
This is another fantastic addition to our range of oils and dressings for salads and for cooking with.

Both our Basil and Garlic Infused Rapeseed Oils are made for us by the Palmer family on their mixed family farm in the Yorkshire Wolds.
