Tasting Notes
If you like raspberries and vodka then this liqueur will be for you. Written up by The Telegraph Newspaper in 2009 and again in May 2010 as being the only thing to shop for while in Edinburgh, we have it on good authority that it is worth a try!
How is it best drunk?
It can be drunk on its own as an aperitif, simply poured over ice, or drunk as a digestif after supper. It can be mixed with a dash of our Dry British Vermouth over ice to form a wonderful Raspberry Vodka Martini. If you like a long, freshing cocktail then we recommend you try our Raspberry Fresh Cocktail which used fresh raspberries.
There are reports that a splash of our Raspberry Vodka is being drunk merrily with Champagne, some have even used it on ice cream.....but experimentation is the key! If you are brave try our Bloody Pirate Cocktail. Looking for a good pudding recipe for our Raspberry Vodka? Try our Raspberry and Lemongrass Trifle.
How is this made?
Created for us by our highly skilled retired Teachers from East Lothian it is made from fresh Scottish Raspberries infused in Scottish Vodka and is described as utterly irresistible by all who try it. This delicious drink has always attracted attention and was first noted for excellence in 2004 as one of the top 100 liqueurs in the world by the Scotland on Sunday.
