How is it best used?
Rhubarb Balsamic Vinegar is fantastic for dressing salads with a first class light olive oil such as our Villa Montalbano Extra Virgin Olive Oil. If you like roasted vegetables, try glazing the pan with the vinegar while frying the chopped vegetables hard. The results are a delicious caramelising effect on the roasted chunks. Vinegar Spritzers are all the rage currently and so it should come as no surprise that you can make a mean Rhubarb Vinegar spritzer by adding a dash to glass of sparkling mineral water and ice.
How is this made?
Our Rhubarb Balsamic Vinegar is made for us by Susie Hamilton Stubber in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. White Balsamic Vinegar from Modena, Northern Italy, is infused with Irish Rhubarb to produce this subtle and delicious dressing. Susie is someone who has been brought up to love the countryside and to enjoy and appreciate nature's bounty, just like us. We met her first in 2018 when she first let us try some of her magical creations which she has been cooking up since launching into business in 2013.
