Bramble & Vanilla Cordial

If you love hedgerow fruits then you will be over the moon about our new Bramble & Vanilla Cordial. This is a seriously delicious alcohol free aperitif, made from British brambles, or blackberries, infused with vanilla. Mix it with tonic, still or sparkling water and ice to quickly create a healthy, non-alcoholic drink to enjoy at any time of the year.

We have taken a classic flavour combination: fruity wild brambles with the sweet, aromatic notes of vanilla and made it into an irresistible cordial. This is the perfect balance of flavour and irresistible taste.

How is it best used?

We enjoy serving our new Bramble & Vanilla Cordial with a chilled mixer in Spring and Summer. However, we also recommend trying this drink warm, as mulled drink, during the Winter months of the year.

All of our cordials are very concentrated. Mix a single 25ml measure of cordial with at least 250ml of either tap water, soda water, or tonic water to make a fantastic long and refreshing drink. Use plenty of ice with slices of lime, lemon and other fruits to create delicious non-alcoholic cocktails or "mocktails".

How long will it last?

Our cordials are made of only natural ingredients, with no preservatives. If unopened and kept in a cool, dark place they should be safe to consume up to 3 months from purchase, or prior to the BBE (Best Before End) date shown on the bottle, which ever the earlier date. However, once opened the cordial should be refrigerated and consumed within 4 weeks.

Frances and I have been deliberating on introducing a range of cordials to our Demijohn selection of drinks since we started in 2004. Finally, in early 2016 we discovered a little known micro producer called Charlotte Grant who not only is immensely passionate about making cordials, has a magical skill.

Charlotte has been making amazing cordials from hedgerow ingredients gathered in and around her Suffolk home for a number of years. This cordial is part of our range of 12 or more non-alcoholic drinks which we plan to continue to expand over time.
