Our Damson Gin Liqueur is smoother and fruitier to taste than our traditional Sloe Gin, and a little bit sweeter too. We have bottled it here in our charming Apotheker 40ml bottle which is a good size for use as a miniature or wedding favours.
How is it best drunk?
If you are looking for Sloe Gin, then this as a wonderful alternative that you will not be disappointed with. It will remind you of an evening in front of a roaring fire on a cold winter's night, and is perfect as an after dinner tipple or even as a cold morning sharpener! Damson Gin Liqueur can be used to make some fun cocktails. Try making a Kir with a dash of Damson Gin Liqueur in glass of Champagne or Sparkling White Wine. For more adventurous, try either our Yummy Mummy Cocktail or a Sloe Gin Martini, replacing Sloe Gin with Damson Gin.
How is this made?
Our Damson Gin Liqueur is made for us by Robin and Derry Ford just South of Edinburgh, using British Damsons carefully infused in Grants Gin and just the right amount of sugar.
