Tickets are on Sale for Glenlair Feastival 2026

Glenlair Feastival 2026 - The Demijohn Cocktail Bar

First release tickets are now on sale for Glenlair Feastival 2026 and could make a fantastic Christmas gift. The success of Demijohn’s exclusive music, food and drink festival on the farm in 2025 means that Glenlair Feastival will run again next year on Sat 15th August 2026.

The new concept for a small, high quality Summer festival, mixing original live music with some of the region’s finest local food and drink, has proved to be an extremely popular idea with festival goers and musicians alike demanding more of the same.

The idea for Glenlair Feastival was first launched in 2024 by Angus and Frances Ferguson, founders of Demijohn, the award winning liquid deli.

Glenlair Feastival doubled in size in 2025, with an amazing 12 hours of performances by 7 artists entertaining a crowd of happy visitors of all ages who danced in glorious wall to wall sunshine within the beautiful rural setting of Glenlair Steading.

An eclectic mix of musical talent lined up on a SW Audio stage to give live performances by local bands Palliro, Pedro & The Pirates, a return set by The Aberlady Sessions and even a debut duet from Sunshine & the Silver Seams.

Up Yer Airts sponsored 3 emerging young local musicians to perform live. Josh White, Ella Campbell and Benjamin Paul played their hearts out to rapturous applause proving they have great careers ahead of them.

Director of Art D&G, who attended Glenlair Feastival for the first time, said “I really enjoyed this year's Feastival, a lovely chilled vibe in a great outdoor venue as people listened to brilliant music, ate really good food, chatted and hung out together, all while drinking some very tasty and devilishly strong Demijohn cocktails! A must already in the diary for 2026.”

In addition to excellent music, some of the regions best food and drink producers took part to increase awareness of their amazing produce. To eat was everything from Brigston & Co’s handcrafted hotdogs and West Coast Seafood’s fresh Oysters to Earth’s Crust Bakery’s exquisite Amandine Tart and a cooling handmade Glen Urr Ice Cream.

The quality food complimented some fabulous drinks, designed by the Demijohn Cocktail Bar Team to help people throw off their inhibitions and get up and dance!

The drinks menu included epic Demijohn Cocktails with names such as Citrus Sundowner, Bloody Pirate and Fruity Highlander. Local Craft Beer and Cider was available from Five Kingdoms Brewery and Steilhead Cider, and there was even frothy coffee from Cuddy’s Horsebox Cafe.

Demijohn’s flagship store at Glenlair Steading was open for tastings of their unique range of handmade, sustainable food & drink and was busy all day.

Angus Ferguson, Owner of Demijohn said: “I think Frances and I never imagined that creating a music festival was going to be so much fun. We are just over the moon that it has proved so popular and very grateful for all the support we have received from Arts D&G, Scotland Starts Here and others to allow it to happen. We love the idea that we can help young musicians in a small way, while at the same time create a fun and safe space for families to have a happy time eating, drinking and dancing. We are excited at the thought of Glenlair Feastival 2026, so the planning has already started to make it even more fun than this year!”

Glenlair Feastival 2026 will take place at Glenlair Steading near Castle Douglas on Sat 15th August 2026 between noon and 10pm. Overnight camping will be available. Adult tickets are on sale now, starting at £20 for the first release.

Glenlair Feastival

Glenlair Feastival was first run in 2024 to celebrate Demijohn’s 20th year in business and was so popular it has become an annual event. Glenlair Steading is architecturally significant and was restored in 2023 as the new home of Demijohn, Scotland’s award winning liquid deli. The steading’s beautiful stone walls lend themselves easily to become a sheltered theatre for performing arts.
