Our Traditional Mead 14.5% is unbelievably smooth to drink, gentle on the digestion and packed full of wonderful honey aromas and taste.
We have bottled this exquisite drink in our beautiful, teardrop shaped Goccia 100ml bottle.
How is it best drunk?
Mead was traditionally consumed at weddings, hence a possible source of the name, honeymoon which could make for an attractive wedding favour gift. However, it would also make for a perfect corporate gift.
Mead can be enjoyed on all occasions as an aperitif. In summer it is a wonderful drink served chilled. We would also suggest serving it in place of a pudding wine with cheese. In winter it makes a wonderfully warming mulled drink.
There is also a variety of cocktails that can be created using our wonderful Traditional Mead 14.5%.
How is this made?
Our Traditional Mead, or Honey Wine is made for us from a simple blend of British honey, water and yeast by a small team of passionate individuals at Nigel Howard's West Country Winery in Devon.
Anything else I should know?
Our Goccia 100ml bottle can be personalised with a handwritten message making it not only unique but also personal.
To add even more of a unique finish to this product why not add a Goccia Carousel. This amazing handcrafted piece makes for an amazing presentation piece difficult not to admire.
