Admittedly this could be the name for your dog (rhubarb) and your cat (ginger), but it is not! Personally speaking, there are not many flavours that pair better with root ginger than rhubarb, strong with strong. So it has been rather fortunate that two of our favourite products, our Rhubarb Vodka Liqueur 20.5% and our Ginger Wine 14.5% can now be brought together as a beautiful set in our Ying & Yang 200ml bottles.
How is this best used?
This strikingly presented pair of delicious drinks would make a wonderful gift at any time of the year, but if you were looking for something to make your Mother glow on Mother's Day, then this might just hit the spot!
What is in it?
The origin of our Rhubarb Vodka Liqueur lies on the banks of Loch Ness, near Inverness. Sheep Farmer and Organic Rhubarb Grower Andrew Lyle produced our first version of this now well developed and much loved drink for us in 2006. Over the years its taste and production methods have developed slightly to keep up with demand. Scottish Rhubarb is now infused in Scottish Vodka for us by retired PE Teachers Robin and Derry Ford near their home in East Lothian. Their well practiced skill in making drinks for us has resulted in a magically fresh, distinctly rhubarb tasting drink that is quite frankly delicious.
