How is this made?
Our original Coffee Liqueur was made by a talented producer in Elgin, Moray. Jill Brown mastered the art of making a delicious drink using small batch distilled Spirit Ethanol infused with freshly ground Sumatra coffee beans to produce a majestical, strong flavoured and unique drink.
Using this background knowledge of an excellent drink, when Jill Brown decided to cease production, we searched the country in 2025 and fortunately discovered Yan Pilkinton in York. Yan and his team had harnessed his knowledge of distilling and taste to create this latest variety of Coffee Liqueur. Using medium roast Latin American coffee from their local Holmfirth coffee roasters they infused their own Eau de Vie to create a delightful drink. This Coffee Liqueurs taste is quite simply remarkable.
