Hold your Horses Cocktail
First created during a fantastically hot week while we exhibited at Badminton Horse Trials in early May 2016, our Hold your Horses Cocktail is aptly named. It is a wonderful, citrus inspired vodka cocktail that is totally unique.
Our smooth Rhubarb Liqueur 21% combines with our zesty Grapefruitcello Liqueur 32% and the zing of our unique Elderflower Vinegar to produce a delicious long drink, perfectly matched for a hot Summers day.
The ingredients of this cocktail can be easily purchased together as the Hold your Horses Cocktail Gift Set and would make a fantastic grown up Christmas gift or birthday gift.
Ingredients
- 2 measures Rhubarb Liqueur 21% or Rhubarb & Ginger Cordial
- 1 measure Grapefruitcello Liqueur 32%
- Dash Elderflower Vinegar
- 3 measures Walter Gregor's Tonic Water
Preparation
Half fill a rocks glass with ice and add either Rhubarb Liqueur or Rhubarb & Ginger Cordial, Grapefruitcello and Elderflower Vinegar. Top up with tonic water and muddle gently.
Garnish with a fresh stem of rhubarb or lime and then sip like a Show Jumper!
